Welcome to Sardonyx Studios!
My name is Kate and I live in the Kiewa Valley in the Alpine Region of Northeast Victoria. I moved here after returning from Europe in March 2020 as the world was starting to shut down.
I started painting as a distraction and creative outlet during lockdown as I was not working and wanted something positive to focus on. At first, I painted for myself and then as my passion grew, I felt a great sense of joy when I shared the art I had created with others. I wanted other people to feel the same sense of happiness I do when looking at my art which lead me to start this website.
The name Sardonyx Studios came from the crystal Sardonyx which combines the grounding and protecting energies of Onyx and the strength and courage of Carnelian. Sardonyx crystal helps to bring out your inner strength to assist your to move towards accomplishing you goals and dreams.
My hope for Sardonyx Studios is to have a platform to create a positive space to share what I have learnt about self-healing through different techniques using colour as a healing resource. I know the benefits I have personally experience from bringing art and colour into my world and I wish the same for you.
